SOP Care Sheet

Enclosure

Our classroom has all the birds listed above. They all have parrot cages that are loaded with toys. Our birds get to fly around the room every day. Signs are put up on the outer part of the door, warning visitors to be careful when they open the door.

Daily Care

Every day the newspaper is replaced and branches are scrubbed. Fresh food and water is given daily.

Lighting and Temperature

Our animals are all kept in a warm room with classroom lighting.

SOP Feed Schedule

We Birds are fed daily. Fruits and veggies are offered daily also with a piece of millet spray. A piece of cuttle bone is hung on the side of their cage.
